Mich Fisher is a branding consultant, visual designer, and copywriter with over twenty-five years of experience in high-end design, marketing, and branding. With a background in luxury goods, residential design and project management, she established Plastic Hassle—a Hollywood-based boutique production and design studio specializing in creative independent professionals and brands—with her husband Jim in 2005. As a freelance marketing and branding consultant, she’s designed and managed websites, visual branding, social media, email marketing, as well as catalog and ad design for indie alt fashion label Lip Service, along with editing and managing their online magazine. She’s also managed visual branding and promotional marketing for L.A. studio and underground destination Studio Servitù, independent film distributor Cinevolve, and select independent models, performers, and creators.
With a diverse client base in the fashion, entertainment and creative industries, Mich’s works reflect the varied needs and expectations of the desired target audience. But, regardless of style, she designs all projects with the same goal: an evocative image with clean elegant lines and clear genre recognition for maximum impact and engagement.
Currently, Mich oversees promotional design, email campaigns, and SEO content for select private clients, as well as providing graphic design, copywriting and branding services for various Los Angeles area companies, while completing independent creative projects.
After planning her upcoming UF series, Mich has sought to expand her offerings as a hired-gun branding designer into self-publishing and independent micropresses. At the Artful Cover, indie authors and publishers will find custom book cover design packages and a weekly collection of new premade ebook covers, as well as a full range of social media and promotional graphics options. Author / series branding, marketing and site copy, and email campaign consulting will also be available on a contract and per-project basis.
